March 1, 2013
It is with great pleasure and pride, that I send you this personal invitation to come to New York next year, to celebrate the Centennial of the Head and Neck Cancer Program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from July 26-30, 2014. The Centennial Program Committee has invited the 5th World Congress of the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncology Societies to celebrate this once in a life time event. I am proud to say that the American Head and Neck Society will host this World Assembly of Head and Neck Surgeons and Oncologists, which promises to be the largest ever held Congress on Head and Neck Cancer in history.
The Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is composed of a group of totally committed outstanding specialists, who work tirelessly in a multidisciplinary fashion to provide world-class care to patients with head and neck cancer. I can assure you that this team is second to none in the world. The tradition of cutting edge care and leadership in head and neck cancer goes back one hundred years ago when the first Head and Neck Surgery service was established at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. We now celebrate its Centennial to recognize the commitment of these exemplary individuals at this great Institution which offers “the best cancer care, anywhere”
I know, I will be there, and I personally invite you to join me in celebrating this outstanding event next year. Looking forward to see you all next year.
